Unfortunately there won’t be a Bala or Port Carling Farmers Market in 2020. On Sunday May 10 the committee posted the below message on their social media feeds.

“Dear valued Customers and hard working Vendors, We appreciate your attendance and support, but due to the COVID -19 virus, the Bala and Port Carling Farmers Market Committee has decided to cancel the Markets for the 2020 season. We feel it is in the best interest of everyone that we minimize the chances of spreading the Virus. Together we can control and ultimately beat the COVID -19 Virus but it will take time and patience. We look forward to the 2021 season opening with all of great vendors and musicians. Please stay safe and be kind to one another. Sincerely, Port Carling and Bala Farmers Market Committee”
