Delicious Muskoka Food Review Journal
Last week during a wet, rainy, damp and gloomy day I had a meeting scheduled at Moose Delaney’s Sports Bar and Grill. I’d like to begin by saying that I really dig their laid back lunch vibe.
The service is always friendly and attentive.
It was the perfect day to order a bowl of chicken and veggie soup. That afternoon the $4 soup of the day was exactly what my chilly soul needed. With chunky vegetables and generous chicken bites it was a cozy fall lunch option.
As a side note the grill also makes a solid cup of java.
My lunch mates raved about the restaurants Kale salad from a previous dining experience. The salad was the selling dish which prompted our choice of venue for our meeting.
The leafy dish is a mix of shredded kale, cabbage and spinach with red onions, mushrooms, apples, avocado, and roasted maple pecans tossed in a balsamic dressing. The big bowl portion is priced at a reasonable $10, the dish I’m told is filling.
I appreciate the wide variety of choice the Moose Delaney menu offers, so much more than just pub fare. Definitely local and loving it at this grill.
