Muskoka Post Staff
To help residents continue the clean-up efforts from the wind storm last week, the District of Muskoka in partnership with local area municipalities has waived fees associated with brush, limbs, branches, and trees at waste facilities until June 30, 2020.
District staff continue to monitor COVID-19 restrictions and observe new requirements to keep the community safe. Due to increased precautions at waste facilities including limiting the number of visitors onsite, physical distancing, as well as monitoring storage capacity of materials, residents are asked to use one of the following District waste facilities to dispose of storm-related brush from the June 10, 2020 weather event:
Rosewarne Transfer Station 1062 Rosewarne Drive, Bracebridge
Eveleigh Transfer Station 1174 Eveleigh Road, Port Carling
Beiers Transfer Station 1052 Beiers Road, Gravenhurst
All vehicles must enter and exit over the scales. The Site Attendant will request information for tracking purposes and direct vehicles to the disposal area. Impacted households requiring multiple trips are asked to make arrangements in advance with our Waste Management team at email@example.com or 705-645-6764.
