As summer approaches and motorists cruise with their windows down as they travel with their furry four legged best friend, the OPP have a message;

“It's nearly the dog days of summer, but they still shouldn't drive! Driving with your best friend on your lap can lead to distraction and a collision that could severely injure or kill your pup. Not only is it unsafe, but it's illegal and will cost you $110 and 3 demerit points for Drive While Crowded. Drive safe!” - Caledon OPP
