“I'd like to clarify that none of the Sales Agents or Administrative Staff had any involvement in the choices made by the Broker/Owner.
When some sales staff noticed that something was happening, we had immediately notified the proper channels to get this investigated and things have just started coming to light over the last couple of days. We still do not know the full scope of the Owner/Brokers actions, but are hoping that we will see punishment for the decisions of this Owner/Broker and justice for all of those affected.
Because the Owner/Broker was suspended, it automatically makes it so all Agents in the company are suspended until we are hired by another Broker.
That process is in the works, and I am happy to say that we will all be employed by a new Broker who is helping us sort through this and will get us back up and running over the next couple of days.
Our administration was also affected by this wrongdoing and not paid for some of their work as well.
If you have any questions in the meantime, you should contact your Agent directly, or the Real Estate Council of Ontario: 1-800-245-6910, ext. 4873
We are looking forward to continuing to serve this community in 2020!”
Rowe also added on her Facebook page that Re/Max Country North Realty Inc. broker/owner has “acted in bad faith and the proper agencies are currently investigating to sort this situation out and put this man where he belongs.“
