HUNTSVILLE - Trillium Lakelands District School Board has closed Huntsville Public School for Thursday, Oct. 10 to facilitate repairs for a gas leak.
Parents are being asked if possible to pick up their children from Huntsville High School at the main office.
TLDSB has sent out the following statement to parents:
”Huntsville Public School will be evacuated for the remainder of the school day while repairs are made at the school. All after school programs at Huntsville Public School are cancelled for this evening Thursday, October 10, 2019.
Huntsville Public School is closed due to a gas leak. Earlier this morning the board released this statement.
“There is currently a suspected gas leak at Huntsville Public School. No students or staff have entered the building today. All students are being re-routed to Huntsville High School. Students will remain at Huntsville High School until their school is deemed safe.“
