The Ontario Provincial Police took to their social media feed today and on facebook posted that a school bus driver had been charged with stunt driving in Caledon.

“There is nothing magic about this school bus. Driving 56 km/h OVER the posted speed limit won’t make the kids go back to school any faster. School bus stopped for Stunt Driving through Caledon Village last night by Caledon OPP. No children were onboard at the time.

Please slow down and drive safe.” — OPP

A 64 year old Brampton driver was caught speeding 106 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone while operating the school bus. The bus was stopped at Highway 10 and Charleston Sideroad around 1 a.m. on June 11. He was charged with stunt driving, had his driver's licence suspended and the school bus was impounded for seven days.
