Environment Canada has issued another Snow squall warning for:
Bracebridge - Gravenhurst - Huntsville - Baysville - Port Carling - Port Severn - Town of Parry Sound - Rosseau - Killbear Park
Significant snow squalls for tonight Thursday, Dec. 12.
A strong snow squall has developed over southern portions of Georgian Bay this evening. This intense squall is expected to persist through the night and produce locally significant snowfall amounts of up to 75 cm.
Travel is expected to be difficult along portions of Highways 400 and 11 tonight due to heavy accumulating snow and near zero visibilities.
The snow squalls are forecast to weaken by Thursday morning.
Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Road closures are possible.
