It's cold out there and Muskoka is hosting two Coldest Night of the Year walks. Huntsville's Table Soup Kitchen Foundation and Gravenhurst Against Poverty are both looking to meet their respective fundraising totals this upcoming Saturday Feb. 22.

Huntsville has already passed last years total contributions and are just $2,000 shy of reaching this years goal set at $35,000. G.A.P's magic number is $50,000 and they are currently at just over 60 percent to meeting their 2020 goal.

The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization committed to serving people who are in need in the Muskoka area. In 2018 The Table food bank served 3,380 meals to members of the local community, with numbers increasing year over year.

G.A.P. is an inclusive, open, and transparent grassroots organization, with the goal of reducing poverty within the greater Gravenhurst community.

You can join these important community organizations on Saturday Feb. 22 for a walk in support of the hungry and homeless.

The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our communities.
