Winter Travel Advisory for Huntsville/Baysville/Parry Sound/Rosseau

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for;

Huntsville - Baysville

Town of Parry Sound - Rosseau - Killbear Park

Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for this morning.

Brief but intense bands of snow, associated with a fast moving cold front will pass through the area this morning. Snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 cm are possible by sunrise along with gusty winds.

Motorists should be prepared for deteriorating driving conditions including accumulating snow and low visibility due to blowing snow.

In the wake of the cold front, temperatures will drop several degrees in just a few hours. Any snow that may have melted on roads and other surfaces could freeze producing icy and slippery conditions.
