It was a great evening, we had approximately 100 guests attend and everyone was dressed for a fun night out. The evening entertainment featured an amazing performance by Christina Hutt. Her talent was apparent and her performance was beautiful.

Tall Trees catered the event and provided a wonderful assortment of appetizers through the night. The room was decorated by the beautiful art which was graciously donated by 20 Muskoka artists including: Mark Reeder, Helena Renwick, Catherine O’Mara, Sue Pritchard, Karen Gray, Miranda Britton, Catherine Luce, Karen Thorn, Dave Sandford, Kelly Holinshead, Paula Boon, Susan MacDonald, Ken Biggs, Diana Thoms, Heather Douglas, Andre Carriere, Keri-Lyn Freebird, Paul Fairhurst, Monique Charlton and Roberta Twaddle. The art was auctioned off through the evening in both silent and live auctions in support of Enliven.

We were also very fortunate to have David McLean of Soapstones Natural Skincare present Enliven with a cheque for $7,500! Soapstones has been a long standing benefactor of Enliven, providing us with the proceeds from the sales of their aptly named “Enliven” line of products. We are grateful to have such a supportive, philanthropic business in our community. Thank you Soapstones, for the continuous and generous support.

Enliven is excited to say that with this donation along with community support, we exceeded our expectations for our first annual World Cancer Day Gala and raised $14,556!!!

This event would not have happened without our sponsors. Thank you to Cayman Marshall International Realty, Portage Promotions, Camp Tawingo, Huntsville Animal Hospital, East Side Marios Huntsville, and Bubbler Buddy.

Thank you to our amazing community for supporting Enliven Centre for Well Being in Cancer!
